Do you ever (or constantly) feel like a bad mom? Do you:
Find yourself yelling more than you want and beating yourself up about it later?
Say yes when you want to say no because you feel bad about something?
Spend hours replaying interactions with your kids, wishing you’d handled things differently?
Compare yourself to other moms and wish you could be more like them?
Feel like whatever decision you make with your kids is the wrong one?
You might be experiencing mom guilt.
Guilt is one of the heaviest emotions we can feel, and most of us think it’s just something we have to live with.
Guilt keeps us from enjoying the present moment with our kids. It keeps us living in the past and that’s not where our power is.
Don’t let mom guilt continue to affect your self-confidence and inner happiness or take you away from enjoying your life and family.
If you’re ready to kick mom guilt to the curb, check out the mom guilt resources page.
If you are happy with every aspect of your life, household, parenting and relationship then feel free to keep on scrolling.
But if there is even the smallest part of you that wishes your #momlife had a little less chaos and guilt then stick around to learn about Increase Your Peace, a coaching program I have developed to help moms release their guilt and truly live in their peace!
You deserve to live a life that you don't want to escape from.

Feeling disconnected from your kids? In this episode of Imperfect Mommying, I welcome psychologist and author Suanne Lewis to explore how mindful parenting and effective communication can create deeper connection, especially in today’s fast-paced, tech-heavy world.
Suanne shares her four-step approach for how to talk so kids will listen, including practical communication tools like reflective listening, open-ended questions, and mindful presence. We also talk about the impact of COVID on social development, parenting in the digital age, and simple ways to reconnect with your child—no matter their age.
This conversation is packed with support for overwhelmed moms, emotional support for mothers, and mindset coaching for moms who are craving more presence, peace, and real connection with their children.
Dr. Suanne Lewis is a psychologist, author, T'ai Chi Chih and Yoga instructor, wife, mother, and dog enthusiast! Suanne focuses her writing on teaching tales designed to challenge her readers to explore positive values, mindfully observe their environment, develop greater self-awareness, and build relationships.
Dr. Lewis worked with individuals and groups ranging from children to seniors. In her extensive therapy work, she used storytelling to help people effectively learn about themselves and the world. She practices yoga, T’ai Chi Chih, and qigong daily. Suanne became a certified trainer/teacher of yoga and T’ai Chi Chih to help her clients better learn to “embody” focused attention, relaxation, balance, and overall wellness. She lives a healthy lifestyle, spending time in nature and using her observations as material for her teaching tales.
